Supports the highest resolution available

After releasing the successful Palit 7600GS and OverClocking Palit 7600GS Sonic PCI-Express solutions, Palit released Nvidia GeForce AGP (Accelerated Graphics Port) - the Palit 7600GS AGP.

Palit representatives said that the company has used the 90 nm process to produce its latest product which, because of the Dual-link DVI ports, is able to support the highest resolution of no less than 2560 x 1600 pixels.

The 7600GS AGP sports a 256MB /128bit memory, 12 pixel pipelines, having a core speed of 400MHz and a memory frequency of 800MHz. "Palit 7600GS AGP is perfect for AGP upgrade market. Many PC users, who still have AGP Motherboard, are eager to play the High-Definition Games and want to enjoy the realistic gaming at ultra-high resolutions by the latest graphics technology, Palit GeForce 7600GS AGP is the must choice for AGP Gaming enthusiast," said Hardware Zone.

According to the manufacturer's statements, the 7600GS graphics accelerator can deliver extreme HD gaming and high-definition, home-theater quality video and DVD playback for an enhanced image quality. As most of the latest products, this one is also Microsoft Vista ready offering an enhanced 3D graphical user interface and the enhancements brought by Nvidia's PureVideo technology.

More precisely, the PureVideo HD combines hardware acceleration from an Nvidia graphics processing unit, high definition movie player integration and HDCP feature support to make it easy for manufacturers and users to build PCs that are able to play HD DVD or Blu-ray movies.
