14 DAY TRIAL // Nordic Games and The Farm 51 have just announced the immediate availability Operation “Zombie Bunker” DLC for Painkiller Hell & Damnation for PC.
The new expansion pack is now available for download via Steam for €6.99/$6.99 and requires the base game Painkiller Hell & Damnation. Check it out here.
According to developer The Farm 51, the Zombie Bunker DLC offers players more content, such as a new single-player map featuring a new boss fight.
In addition, the expansion pack also includes a new multiplayer map, DM Fragenstein, which is playable in various modes.
Devs also confirmed the Stalingrad map (formerly known as Leningrad) has been reworked, so it now allows for airstrikes, Zeppelin firebombs and airborne zombie troops.
Obviously, this DLC brings a range of new weapons and armors, but also some new enemies roaming the new zones were introduced:
- Two new rocket launchers (environment weapons); - New enemies: Russian, American, and German Zombie Soldiers as well as their tanks; - New melee weapon: The “Morgenstern” – smite your enemies with its spiky ball at short distances, or deploy sticky mines to battle from afar; - New Silver Tarot card: Armor Regeneration (recharging your collected armor).
“We wanted to put players on the front line with this DLC and create a terrifying military experience that players will need to work hard against in order to succeed. The new maps will immerse players in a truly demonic military world,” said Reinhard Pollice, Business & Product Development director at Nordic Games.
According to Nordic Games publisher, Painkiller Hell & Damnation will be released for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 on May 31.
It will include both single-player and co-operative modes across four chapters, as well as several multiplayer modes. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
