It's download Monday all the way! After giving you the chance to play the superb BioShock PC demo, we've got another goodie coming straight from THQ. They have just released a playable demo of Worms Open Warfare 2 for the PSP, so you're in for a mountain of fun caught between BioShock and the newest title in the Worms series.

The demo features a single map and a couple of weapons to do the destruction with. In case you're running low on Memory Stick Duo space, there's no need to worry as the demo takes up only 4.2MB. It comes as a .zip file which includes instructions and I must mention that you'll have to register for a free THQ account if you want to download this demo. In a matter of minutes, the world famous critters will be back on your PSP, with their trademark taunts and silly attacks, ready to deliver a unique experience.

Worms Open Warfare 2 will be released on the PSP and Nintendo DS at the end of this month, so THQ is increasing the hype by allowing us to get a bite out of the title's gameplay. With a game like BioShock on our hands, a Worms Open Warfare 2 session is needed, in order to be able to sleep at night and chill out after playing the terrifying FPS.

This PSP title resurrects the series and gives us hope that we'll see another major Worms game, that will rock the genre and set new standards for potential copy-cats. I recall having played Worms 2 while attending a teenage party and this is surely a title designed for such circumstances. Call it "party game" or call it a way to have fun while watching some silly worms shoot each other with rocket launchers or mad exploding sheep.
