Official PlayStation Magazine is a great teaser and their last issue hinted a special PS3 title that was yet to be announced to which they would undoubtedly have the exclusive first look. News about the said obscure title, that no one would expect to see on launch day, spawned rampant rumors with the definitive answer coming in the editorial team's latest podcast. With drums rolling, the next great PS3 unveiling shows none other than The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

The game is not a mere PS3 port, introducing a new faction to the Oblivion world. It appears Oblivion had an abundance of evil avatars and the good counterparts were somehow lacking. Knights of the Nine are available straight from the beginning, described by the developers as "the good Dark Brotherhood," while the ultimate goal is to achieve the rank of Divine Crusader, a warrior and healer hybrid archetype of virtue.

"It has the Dark Brotherhood: You get your outfit, you feel like an assassin, you feel like an evil guy, you role-play like an evil guy" says executive producer Todd Howard. "As opposed to adding content that allowed your character to just experience new quests, we wanted to create something that allowed your character to become something new."

Players can enjoy new quests, never seen before locations, characters, armor, weapons and the various bugs that plagued the Xbox 360 and PC versions are addressed. Elder Scrolls Travels: Oblivion was also confirmed, a PSP game to feature a deeper role playing connection and bonus features. That's about it for now as more information on both titles is sure to arrive in the next few weeks.
