Sure most DMC fans out there are always unhappy hearing more about the latest iteration of the game as a multiplatform title, but knowing that the PS3 version is somewhat superior to the Xbox 360 version should ease the pain a bit. Yes dear DMC fanatics, the former PS3-exclusive Devil May Cry 4 looks a tad better on the Sony console, features this hard drive install that eliminates all load times from the game and more.

According to ps3fanboy.com the latest issue of Famitsu reveals that "an optional hard drive install will supposedly remove all load times from the game. But, be warned - it's quite a hefty install at nearly 5GB. Not only will load times be shortened on the PS3, but audiophiles will be glad to hear that the PS3 version also includes 5.1 LPCM audio. There's also support for the PSN, although how exactly it will work is still unclear."

Devil May Cry 4 features the same Gothic-inspired supernatural setting which fans have gotten used to over the years, whith a new protagonist, Nero, and the awesome power of his Devil Bringer being introduced. A demo of DMC 4 is set for release on PSN and XBLM in early 2008, including memorable sections from the full game, chosen especially to showcase various locales.

It has been confirmed that in the demo, you'll be able to familiarize yourself with Nero's powers, such as the ability to slam creatures to the ground, cover great distances in a single bound or even grab enemies while on the ground or in the air and pull them towards Nero to continue a combo. The Exceed system allows Nero to "rev up" his sword "as if it were a motorcycle throttle" to unleash devastating attacks, as Capcom themselves put it.

The rest of the features are the same for both console installments. DMC4 has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. The full version of Capcom's action adventure game launches soon after the demo is released on PSN and XBLM.
