Sony has finally confirmed the PlayStation Plus Europe update that arrives in April, complete with Mercenary Kings for the PS4 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 for the PS3, and much more.

PlayStation Plus users have been treated to quite a lot of great free titles via the Instant Game Collection, and the month of April brings fresh additions for the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita, according to PS blog.

First up, PS4 owners will get a free copy of Mercenary Kings, the new 2D action game from Tribute, which tasks players with controlling different crazy characters and going up against an evil organization called CLAW, equipped with mercenaries, henchmen, robots, and more.

Thankfully, you can create and upgrade your own weapons and armor, not to mention work together with friends via the cooperative option.

PS3 owners in Europe can engage next month in PES 2014, the latest iteration in Konami's classic soccer series, allowing all of them to see just how much the franchise has progressed. Players will find a new and improved gameplay mechanic, not to mention the Fox Engine, which produces gorgeous visuals even on the old Sony console.

Sly Cooper fans can also enjoy Thieves in Time for free, the most recent adventure in the classic franchise. The loveable raccoon will have to engage in a bit of time travel so that a villain won't get his hands on the burgling secrets of the Cooper clan. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time is also available for free for the PS Vita via the Cross Buy function, and you can also employ Cross Play and Cross Save in order to keep your progress no matter the platform.

Hotline Miami, the cult classic top-down shooter from Dennaton and Devolver Digital, is also going free for the PS3 and PS Vita via Cross Buy, allowing players to engage in the intense and bloody brawls present in its story. Repetition and perfect timing is key, so be prepared to waste a lot of time with the indie game.

Last but not least, PS Vita owners will be able to indulge in MotoGP 13, the latest iteration in the prestigious motorbike simulator. You can go through the career mode and progress from a lowly Moto 3 wildcard to the top of the MotoGP championship, beating all sorts of famous bikers along the way. You can also engage in the multiplayer, so there's plenty of intense racing to be had.

All these new titles will be added to the European PS Plus Instant Game Collection on April 2, when Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition, Tomb Raider, Borderlands 2, Smart As, and PixelJunk Monsters Ultimate HD are removed.
