PL-521 combines a high quality LCD display with Wacom's patented, cordless, battery-free pen technology. Wacom's new interactive pen display is very good at bringing presentations to life. The PL-521 is a follow-on the more expensive Cintiq interactive pen display.

Here's what this powerful communicating tool is all about: a high-resolution of 15-inch LCD that comes equipped with a digital pen, so you can write, annotate and navigate directly with the pen on the screen.

It comes with a note-scrawling plug-in (JustWrite Office for Microsoft Office) that will let you scratch notes on every document you want.

The Pl-521 boasts a 12" x 9" display area (108 square inches) and an XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 and 16.2 million colors. The stand is fully adjustable allowing you to change the display from 140 degrees horizontal to 130 degrees vertical. The ergonomically designed cordless and battery-free pen provides 512 pressure levels and has programmable double side-switch. The fact that it's easy to adjust, combined with the integrated grip areas, the built-in top-loading pen holder, and the completely flat bezel make the PL-521 extremely comfortable to use.

The LCD screen also features a built-in VGA connector that allows an easy setup and 2 USB ports built into the display to provide easy access to your favorite USB devices.

The device is already available in stores for 1,624 $. Europeans will only get to snap notes on the PL-521 later this month.
