Late last week, Kim Kardashian was flour-bombed on the red carpet. Before covering the reality star in the white powder, the female assailant, whose name hasn't been released to the press, cried out “Fur hag!.”

For that alone, PETA (the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) is willing to lend her a helping hand, even though the group insists she wasn't one of their many activists.

Initial reports claimed that the woman yelled at Kim “This is for Kris Humphries,” prompting speculation that she might be one of Kris' upset fans because of the divorce, following the 72-day marriage.

Later on, various media outlets confirmed that she had, in fact, yelled “Fur hag!,” which is one of the slogans used by PETA members when protesting against a celebrity who would not give up wearing fur.

In a statement to TMZ, the group says that the woman wasn't one of their members, but they applaud her action nevertheless.

Moreover, should Kim decide to file a formal complaint against her – which she will, as we also informed you earlier today – PETA will help her out with legal costs.

“If she presses charges, at least people will be constantly reminded of her selfish, callous disregard for the cruel deaths that she causes by wearing fur,” the animal rights group says in the statement.

“How much better it would be if she decided to evolve and enhance her image by donating her vulgar furs and exotic-animal skins to the homeless. The activist acted from the heart, something Kim doesn't seem to have,” adds PETA.

“If anything, Kim should get a life, the very thing that she denies animals,” the same statement reads.

Assuming Kim goes on with her intention of filing a complaint against her female assailant, PETA is willing to help her out with trial costs, if she reaches out to them.
