Konami PES producer Shingo Takatsuka disclosed that fact that he is currently in possession of two new pads for the new Xbox 360. He taunted all gamers by saying that he is playing around with them at the PES HQ.

The controllers were sent to Takatsuka by Microsoft to re-map the buttons configuration for PES in order to make the game more available for Xbox playing. Until now, the best pad to play Pro Evolution Soccer on was Dual Shock by Sony, but it seems like Microsoft is determined to change that. Microsoft is undergoing a complex strategy to make some games on the Xbox more accessible as it also announced that an unique Xbox 360 pad will be developed for FPS games.

This news seems as a reply to Sony's announcement regarding the PlayStation 3 peripherals a few days ago. Maybe the new Dual Shock, Six Axis, will have some strong competition once the new pads developed by Microsoft will go into production.

As regarding price, we will have to wait and see because the new FPS and PES 360 pads are currently undergoing a series of tests, as their buttons need to be re-mapped to make them more user-friendly.
