The development team at Konami Digital Entertainment working on Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 announces that it is hard at work on an entirely new data pack for the football simulation, which is set to add a wealth of new content for gamers to enjoy.

Launch will take place on the PlayStation 3 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PC at the same time and the publisher says that it should create an entirely new experience for those who love the modern sport.

The biggest change made to Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 is linked to the rosters of all major clubs, which have seen quite a few changes after the January transfer window.

Gamers will be able to enjoy a number of new players and will have to adapt their tactics accordingly.

A number of new kits are also being added to the football sim via a host of classic teams: the AC Milan side of 1899, the 1982/83 Roma side, Benfica’s 1961/62 elven and the Manchester United’s treble winning 1998/99 kit.

Modern teams like AS Roma, FC Porto, Olympiakos and Club Atletico All Boys also get an update in the graphics department and there are also changes for the French, German and Spanish national teams.

South American football is also getting some attention in the PES 2014 data pack with new uniforms for Santos FC (1968), Colo-Colo (1992), Sao Paulo (1993), Boca Juniors (1997), Racing Club Avellaneda (1967) and the Universidad De Chile (1996).

Gamers who pay attention to detail will also be able to use a number of new boots: Nike’s Tiempo V and Hypervenom Phantom, Puma’s evoSPEED 1.2s and evoPOWER 1s and the Predator LZ TRX FGs and F50 adizero TRX from adidas.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 also includes five innovative ball styles.

A patch will be delivered alongside the data pack in order to tweak both gameplay and AI.
