Still a rebel at heart, but in a different way

Back when the entire Osbourne family was starring on the VH1 hit reality show The Osbournes, even some loyal fans didn’t know that a daughter was missing from the picture: her name is Aimee Rachel and she was never big on making a fuss around her famous father.

Aimee was never on the show and was almost never photographed or seen at events her entire family would attend, to the point where many assumed that Ozzy and Sharon had only two children, Kelly and Jack.

Well, Aimee is now ready to step into the spotlight, but she’s still a rebel at heart because she wants you to pay attention to her not for her famous relatives but for her music.

Under the stage name ARO, which is pronounced “arrow” and stands for Aimee Rachel Osbourne, she released a super creepy but beautiful music video for “Raining Gold.” It was directed by Spencer Susser, whose previous music credit is Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness.”

That, I believe, says all in terms of what you should expect from the video. *Please be advised that it contains images of violence that might offend, so discretion is recommended.

In a statement to the press, Aimee says that she took her time in releasing music because she wanted to do something different than her father. At the same time, she didn’t want to be seen as if she was “jump[ing] on the back of all he had worked his entire life for.”

Presumably, this is why she’s not releasing music under the Osbourne name.
