There are few people out there who could have imagined legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, the frontman from Black Sabbath, providing his voice for an animated character in a children's show. Let's not forget we're talking about the Prince of Darkness here, the man who bit off the head of a live bat during a concert performance.

Taking a hint from his famous wife, Sharon Osbourne, who also does voices for TV, Ozzy has agreed to lend his voice to a character in the children's animated show “Bubble Guppies,” airing on Nickelodeon, according to Rolling Stone. As part of that role, he is going to play Sid Fishy, “a rock and roll fish who loves being rotten.”

When asked why he would even consider working on such a part, the aging rocker revealed that he was doing it for his granddaughter Pearl. “She has Nick[elodeon] Jr. on 24/7 [all day]. I can’t wait to see her reaction when she hears my voice come from Sid Fishy’s mouth,” Ozzy said with a smile.

As previously mentioned, wife Sharon also dabbles in TV work of the same sort. She lends her voice to the Captain Hook's mother in the televised show “Jake & the Never Land Pirates.” Hopefully she'll give him some pointers so that he doesn't scare all the children away from their screens.
