The Chinese owner of a Maserati has decided to get revenge on a car dealer by bashing in his own vehicle at a car show.
According to China Car Times, he purchased the vehicle in September 2011 and had to change a part two months later. He serviced the car at Furi Group, where staff exchanged it for a second-hand one.
They charged him for a new part however, and he had to dish out $390 (€300), even though it showed clear signs of prior use.
As a result, he decided to shatter his Quattroporte, which costs $423,000 (€329,000) to pieces to make a point, during the Qingdao Auto Show.
Furi sells and services Maseratis in the Qingdao area, and customers are frustrated over not having alternatives on the matter.
