14 DAY TRIAL // Developer Craneballs and publisher Game Troopers have just announced Overkill 3 is now available for download via Windows Phone Store.
Microsoft's Windows Phone is the third major platform that gets the game after Android and iOS, which were launched a while ago.
Overkill 3 is a 3rd-person shooter with console quality graphics. This means that it will not work on Windows Phone handsets with 512MB of RAM.
The game offers players varied and evolving gameplay, which will allow them to travel through changing environments that range from hostile deserts to abandoned cities and industrial complexes.
According to developers, in order to “survive long enough and become the legendary Resistance leader you will need to master the art of deadly precision.”
For that, players will have a massive arsenal of fully customizable guns at their disposal, ranging from classic shotguns, assault rifles, sniper rifles and machine guns to futuristic firearms.
You can now download Overkill 3 for Windows Phone for free via Windows Phone Store. The game is fully compatible with devices powered by Windows Phone 8 and up, which pack at least 1GB of RAM.
Cooperative multiplayer will be added in the coming months
Moving on to Overkill 3 for Android, the game has just received a major update that fixes some issues and brings several new features.
For example, developers confirmed they have fixed fullscreen functionality and other Android integrations and improves GPGS integration.
It's also worth mentioning that the game now supports more device configurations with the best native graphics available for each one. It also features support for Tegra-based Android TV.
Last but not least, developers confirmed that they would be adding cooperative multiplayer in the upcoming months.
You can now download Overkill 3 for Android for free via Google Play Store. The game should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.1 and up.
