The email service is still unavailable for some consumers across the world

The Outlook.com email service was hit by a new outage a couple of days ago, but Microsoft was hard at work to address the issue and to bring the platform back online for all users.

The service status page now claims that Outlook.com is up and running, but some users across the world are still claiming that they can’t access their inboxes right now.

“People on here know that the status site says everything is OK, but it is not, at least for those who are writing things on here… And I don't think this problem is just for a few people. Please, have the system and server checked and fixed,” one user posted on Microsoft Community forums.

While no workaround is provided for the time being, we’re still waiting for (another) fix from the tech giant, so we’ll keep you posted on this as more information emerges.

Update: the outage seems to continue on August 17. More information here.
