This is a big year for the Oscars as there is a significant number of good movies that came out, all fighting for the same honors. And since the Golden Globes enjoyed the highest audience in ten years, it's safe to say that the Oscars will top that effortlessly.

The big contenders this year are Scorsese's “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “American Hustle,” “Gravity” and “The Dallas Buyers Club.” Of course, everyone out there has their favorites, but ultimately, it's the Academy Members who decide the winners.

As you can see from the list below, “The Wolf of Wall Street,” “American Hustle,” “Gravity” and “12 Years a Slave” managed to top in the number of nominations, with “Dallas Buyers Club” and “Philomena” hot on their trail.
