Just a few days ago, I introduced you to a video showing a pair of tree kangaroo joeys clowning around and gulping down spaghetti.

As it turns out, these two little rascals are named Kimberely and Anneli, and currently live with a conservationist by the name Margit Cianelli in North Queensland, Australia.

According to Zoo Borns, Kimberely was rescued after it fell from a tree and landed in a water stream.

The people who found it tried to reunite it with its mom, but the latter refused to take the joey back under its care. Luckily, Margit offered to welcome the baby kangaroo into her home.

Anneli, on the other hand, was found lying nearly lifeless under a water pump. Its rescuers suspect that, at the time it was found, it had already spent many days without its mom.

Hence the fact that it was malnourished, dehydrated, and very weak. In order to safe its life, vets had to put Anneli on an IV drip for a total of seven days.

Margit Cianelli says that, despite the hardships they have been through while still at a very young age, the kangaroo joeys are now active and quite at ease with the world.

The conservationist hopes that sometime in the not so distant future she will be able to release them back into the wild.
