Some of you might remember when Google launched the original flagship Nexus 7 back in June 2012. The device originally sold for a hefty $350 / €255 from the Google Play Store, but a lot of time has passed since then.

As we’re expecting to see the next-gen Nexus 7, which will ironically be an 8-incher, the original tablet is getting discounted more and more often. For example, those who don’t want to wait for the new Nexus slob, could pick up the first-gen Nexus from Woot! with a nice discount.

The 32GB version of the product currently sells for as low as $149 / €109. For those who need a reminder, the first Nexus 7 comes with an LED backlit IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and draws power from a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A9 processor (part of NVIDIA Tegra 3 chipset) combined with 1GB of RAM.

The tablet may run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, but owners can swiftly update it to the latest version, Android 4.2.2 KitKat via OTA.
