No need to fear anymore now that ASUS Germany cleared things up

Some time ago, ASUS Netherlands said the Transformer TF201, TF300, TF700 would be getting updated to Android 4.1, otherwise known as Jelly Bean.

The lacks of SL101 or TF101 on that list made people think that said tablets would not be getting the same treatment.

Fortunately, this is not the case. ASUS Germany, through its Facebook page, made it clear that the products will, in fact, receive the software update soon.

For those not yet aware, Jelly Bean is the name given to the Android 4.1 operating system. It follows Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0 and sub-versions) and Honeycomb (Android 3.0 and sub-releases).

Hopefully, this time the TF101 won’t have any issues in need of fixing. The ICS release provided us with more than enough of that, and a repeat performance would be too much of a drag.
