Though the battery will be pressed, the performance is undeniable

There is such a thing as too much power, and Origin PC's new high end notebook may very well qualify as something that possesses more than necessary.

The EON17-SLX notebook relies on an overclocked Intel Core i7 six-core central processing unit and two discrete GPUs for computing and graphics rendering.

The GPUs in question can be NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M or AMD's Radeon HD 7970M.

Regardless of the choice, the hardware will eat so much energy that the battery probably won't last more than a couple of hours and a half, if it even manages that (the product page cites 150 minutes, but only with a single AMD GPU).

Go here to customize and order a model, assuming you have at least $1,876 to spare (1522 Euro). Right now, only normal cases are available, but time should unlock matte black and red as well.
