Wireless carrier Orange announced recently that its Orange Business Services was placed in the Leaders quadrant in three of Gartner Inc.'s latest reports. According to the company, its Orange Business Services was named in the Leaders quadrant for Global Network Service Providers, as well as in the Pan-European Network Service Providers and Communications Outsourcing and Professional Services, Worldwide quadrants.

“We are delighted to be positioned in the Leaders quadrant in Gartner’s three latest Magic Quadrant reports. We believe this placement recognizes our unmatched geographic reach and our ability to support our customers through innovative solutions,” Hervé Kauffmann, senior vice president and acting CEO, Orange Business Services, commented on the announcement.

According to the mobile phone carrier, the Orange Business Services, which has already delivered a series of successful cloud services, is set to soon deliver a wide range of other cloud computing services during the following months. Moreover, the company also notes that these new services are meant to fulfill its customers’ needs is a number of six main areas, including collaboration, cloud-ready networking, infrastructure, real-time applications, security and vertical solutions for specific industries.

Orange is a subsidiary of France Telecom, and accounts for a number of 131.8 million customers, and offers Internet, television and mobile services in most of the countries where it operates. “Orange is the number three mobile operator and the number two provider of broadband Internet services in Europe and, under the brand Orange Business Services, is one of the world leaders in providing telecommunication services to multinational companies,” the carrier also notes.
