Last time we heard of Zenum's very interesting Opus Operis Pocket PC phone it was expected to be released in November this year.

The delay of this phone's release was due to the fact that Zenum's management was not satisfied with the overall quality of the phone, considering that it needs some improvement before being presented to the public. A new release date has been made official, and now the Opus Operis is scheduled for March 2007.

Running on Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Edition, the Opus includes mobile versions of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and provides the users with the ability to easily create, edit or view various office documents.

The Opus Operis also features a full QWERTY keyboard as well as a touch screen and stylus, Infrared, Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP and a 2 megapixel camera. It is a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 device that supports GPRS class 10 for data connectivity and WiFi 802.11g/b.

Opus Operis' elegant and innovative design makes this phone unique among other similar devices. And although by the looks of it, the QWERTY keyboard doesn't appear to be as practical and easy-to-use as Zenum might have wanted it to be, Opus is still a device that will most likely fit well both in the office and for leisure use.

Business users can also access information while out of the office with the help of Direct Push Technology that goes hand in hand with the built-in QWERTY keyboard the handheld features. As all good things usually keep you waiting, so will Zenum Opus Operis, at least until March 2007.
