They don’t call her The Big O for nothing: whatever Oprah Winfrey does, she does in style because she can afford it, and then some. United in 2011 with a half-sister she never knew she had, Oprah has been showering her with generous gifts, including a new house, it has emerged.

Oprah first found out about Patricia Lofton’s existence in 2009, but it wasn’t until 2011 that they were brought together. The emotional moment when they first embraced was captured on camera and aired on Oprah’s show, prompting a wave of support from her large fanbase.

As it turns out, Oprah has been taking very good care of Patricia ever since, Radar Online reports. Shortly after the aforementioned emotional moment, she set her up with a “hefty” monthly allowance and, as of late, she even bought her a home.

From a woman who used to give cars as surprise presents to the audience members on her talk show, that is hardly surprising, if you think about it.

The report notes that the house set O back about $490,000 (€357,507), and made Patricia unspeakably happy because she can now quit her job and no longer have to worry about money issues.

“Oprah sprang for the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in Wisconsin and couldn’t be more pleased to help out,” the tab writes.

Besides helping Patricia with her money issues, Oprah is also helping her pursue her dream, a spokesperson for the talk show icon says. Here is a perfect example of how it’s never too late to do what you always wanted.

“Patricia’s greatest dream was to go to college and become a social worker. Oprah wants to support that dream,” says the rep. Patricia is 60 years old.

However, the insider chimes in, what’s even more amazing is that the two have each other.

“Oprah was thrilled to meet Patricia. And Patricia is so grateful that Oprah is helping her. But all she ever wanted is to know her family. She didn’t expect Oprah to do anything like this,” the tipster explains.
