On the same episode that brought Celine Dion fans their first look at her twins Nelson and Eddy, Oprah had as guests Rozonno and Mia McGhee, parents of 8-month sextuplets who have caught her eye thanks to a Facebook picture.

The McGhees came on the show to speak of how difficult is to raise six children at the same time, because it requires a lot of time and money.

Their care first came to Oprah’s attention after she saw the picture that is also attached to this article on their Facebook page – and she decided to do good by them.

As Examiner informs, Oprah and Wal-Mart joined forced and offered the McGhees a $250,000 store credit, while celebrity guest Celine offered them the vacation of their lifetime, a sort of delayed honeymoon in Sin City.

“Though the family received little assistance when the babies were born, they learned on the show that they have been blessed with $250,000 store credit from Wal-Mart,” Examiner says.

“Oprah and Celine Dion, who appeared on the show as well, gave the couple a honeymoon to Las Vegas, including airfare, a four-night stay in the luxurious Emperor’s Suite at Caesar’s Palace, and tickets to Celine’s newest show,” the same publication reports.

Understandably, the McGhees were overwhelmed with joy when they heard the happy news, especially since any help they can get is a welcome one.

The sextuplets were born by IVF after three years or so of conceiving naturally. Taking care of them implies, as noted above, a lot of time and even more money.

For instance, just to be on Oprah, they had to stack up on diapers and formula.

“The couple told Oprah, and the rapt audience of 300, about the time and money it takes to raise the six babies and revealed they go through 50 diapers and 30 bottles a day. For a two day trip to Chicago, they brought 150 diapers... just to be sure they had enough,” Examiner notes.
