Lindsay Lohan's reality show is finally seeing the light of day, despite several delays and numerous problems. It's being produced by Oprah's OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) television network and the collaboration left the talk show host with a bad impression. The premiere for the reality show has been set for March 9. “Lindsay,” as the show is simply called, is being directed by award-winning filmmaker Amy Rice and will be documenting Lindsay's very public efforts of getting back on her feet after her life crisis.

One person that's glad to see the show finally come out is Oprah, who has had issues with working with the socialite. She hints at her troubles in an promotional clip for the show that was aired for critics at the TCA winter press tour.

“This is just what everyone warned me would happen. And it is [difficult working with her],” Oprah fumes. The next scene shows Oprah irritated by the fact that Lohan doesn't want to participate in a scheduled filming session.

She can be seen addressing Lindsay: “My truth is, I really want you to win … but if that isn't what you want, I'm okay with that, I will tell these guys to pack up and leave today.”

Oprah has every reason to be mad at Lindsay. She's supported the troubled star through her many falls and has offered her a staggering $2 million (€1.4 million) in return for doing this 8-episode reality series. But Lindsay was never the dependable type.

She does admit her faults: “I know this is my last shot at doing what I have to do,” she confesses in the same teaser, but that doesn't mean that she manages to stay away from trouble.

When prompted if Lindsay has been keeping clean, her sober coach can be hear saying “Um … you know,” indicating that she still has a long way to remain sober.

Controversy is exactly what this new series airing on Oprah's network, OWN, is looking for. Since the promo promises a“strikingly candid” look into Lindsay's life, the show couldn't have been anything else than controversial.

“Lindsay” will debut on March 9, 2014, at 10 pm.
