Today, Opera announced a partnership with Beeline Tajikistan for the delivery of unlimited access to the web to mobile phone users in the country.

All those who have Opera Mini installed on their mobile phones will be able to enjoy smooth, unlimited browsing for the lowest price in Tajikistan, the two companies announced.

Starting today, users have access to an unlimited mobile web package available under the name of Operativnyj Internet at only 10.29 Tajikistani somoni per month ($2.15), or 4.11 somoni per week ($0.86).

These bundles will provide almost one million Beeline subscribers with access to the web on their devices, regardless of the model they have in their hands.

“Viewing, downloading and sharing multimedia files will not be covered by the service fee and will be charged at regular rates. Other restrictions may also apply,” the two companies also announced.

Opera Mini has over 195 million users around the world, and is said to be the most popular browser in Central Asia, and Tajikistan in particular.

The application has seen an increase in number of users of more than 210 percent in the country, while also enjoying an increase of 719 percent in page views in Tajikistan.

“Our cooperation with Opera Software is tailored to bring Beeline subscribers unlimited surfing possibilities, no matter if they use a smartphone or regular phone,” says Andrey Grunin, head of product development, Beeline Tajikistan.

“With this new, simple and highly cost-efficient service, users in Tajikistan are now able to enrich their browsing habits without worrying about device or financial limits.”

Users interested in taking advantage of the feature should head over to m.opera.com on their mobile devices to download Opera Mini, while activating the service using a USSD code. To get the package for a 30-day period, they will have to type “*555*30#.” To grab the 7-day period deal, they should type “*555*7#.”
