14 DAY TRIAL // Nicolas Refn’s most recent, ultra-violent film, “Only God Forgives,” has a brand new international trailer. It’s safe for work, compared to previous releases but, even so, it’s still very brutal.

Starring “Drive” leading man Ryan Gosling and an almost unrecognizable Kristin Scott-Thomas, the film has Gosling playing a boxer and drug dealer who is summoned by his ruthless mother to avenge the death of his brother.
She is obviously a firm believer in the saying “An eye for an eye,” and nothing short of murder will satisfy her.
The trailer below contains hardly any new footage, but it’s arranged differently from what we saw in this one, which was also R-rated.
“Only God Forgives” will be out in the US on July 19, and in territories overseas on August 2. Will you be seeing it?
