14 DAY TRIAL // According to several reports, One Direction singer Niall Horan has split up from his model girlfriend Barbara Palvin after just a couple of months of dating.
The two started a relationship in December last year, but now the Daily Mail says they have decided to call it quits after they found it difficult to make it work due to hectic work schedules.
“There was no big fall out, things just fizzled out as Niall and Barbara are both working in different parts of the world,” a source close to the couple said. “They are both really busy and Niall is focused on recovering and getting ready for the band's massive Where We Are tour.”
From all appearances, the two have remained friends, despite being separated. The 20-year-old singer is still in London, recovering from knee surgery while Barbara continues to travel the Globe as part of her work with Victoria's Secret and her L'Oreal ambassadorship.
The couple were spotted together on several occasions since they started dating. These include backstage at the X Factor, at a JLS farewell gig at the O2 Arena and on a couple of dates in Hertforshire.
They also spent New Year's together at the Westminster Central Hall in London, where Gary Barlow held a special concert for those in attendance.
The Hungarian model, who is at the moment based in Paris, had already gotten over the affair as she posted a photo of herself in the arms of a mysterious man on her Instagram account. The photo showed her clutching a bunch of flowers and was captioned “Early Valentine.”
Horan and the rest of One Direction are currently enjoying a three-month break after their world tour last year. He is still undergoing intense physiotherapy following his knee surgery, getting ready for the rehearsals ahead of the band's new tour.
