Windows 8.1 tablets have been getting ridiculously cheap, as of late. Relevant examples are the Emdoor I8080 8-inch tablet and the KingSing W8 (also an 8-incher) that sells for just $99 / €72.

But, how many of you heard of Emdoor or KingSing? However, the next dirt cheap Windows 8 tablet comes from a Chinese manufacturer that managed to build a name for itself in the white box vendor field.

Behold the Onda V101w which is one of the cheapest 10.1-inch Windows 8 with Office 365 (no mention of Bing) tablet to have ever arrived on the market (as seen at Cngadget).

The slate can be yours for just $179 / €135, and for this money you’ll be getting a device with an IPS capacitive touchscreen with 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.

Under the hood lies an Intel Atom Bay Trail Z3735 quad-core processor clocked at 1.33GHz fitted with 2GB of RAM which is quite decent to say the least.

The tablet also has two cameras (5MP on the back and 2MP in front), 32GB of internal storage, USB on the go, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, microSD card and HDMI output.

So there you have it folks, the Onda seems like a decent Windows 8 to be had, if you happen to be on the market for a tablet with a larger screen.
