A while ago, Kristen Stewart of “The Twilight Saga” fame shot a little film called “On the Road.” Based on the worldwide popular book of the same name by Jack Kerouac, it just got a first trailer.

You can see it in full below, embedded at the end of this post.

“On the Road” boasts a string of young and older actors, which, in itself, should be enough to recommend it even to those who have not read Kerouac's novel.

Garrett Hedlund of “TRON” is Dean Moriarty, Sam Riley plays Sal Paradise, while Stewart is Marylou, a 16-year-old who would best be described as wild, untamed.

The drama also includes appearances by Kirsten Dunst, Tom Sturridge, Viggo Mortensen, Amy Adams, Steve Buscemi, Terrence Howard and Elisabeth Moss, and will be out in theaters later this year.
