Beside the new Tough camera we've talked about yesterday, Olympus also brought to the market two other new models, the SZ-30MR and the SZ-20, both of which offer some pretty impressive zooming capabilities, while retaining a fairly compact form factor.

The first model we'll talk about as follows is the SZ-30MR, that combines a 16 Megapixel backlit CMOS sensor with a 24x wide optical zoom (25-600mm), in order to provide very good quality images even from afar.

However, what really makes this model stand out from a crowd is the built-in Multi Recording technology from Olympus, that enables the camera to actually record 1080p Full HD movies and take 16 Megapixel stills at the same time (much in the same way most camcorders do).

Moreover, the camera's built-in Dual Engine TruePic III+ image processors also enable users to record two different movies at once, namely in wide-angle and close-up, as well as to record video footage before and after a photo.

Coupled with the numerous Magic Filters the Olympus camera comes pre-loaded with, the SZ-30MR is really an impressive device, especially as far as the creative freedom users are provided with is concerned.

Now, moving on to the second product revealed by Olympus, the SZ-20 camera, we'll have to mention that it also sports an impressive zoom (12.5x super wide optical zoom), as well as 1080p Full HD movie recording.

Both cameras deliver a series of advanced features we've come to expect as standard in all Olympus digital cameras, such as a 3D photo shooting mode, Smart Panorama mode, an advanced Intelligent Auto Mode, and much more.

The SZ-30MR and the SZ-20 compact digital cameras from Olympus are slated to arrive in stores towards the end of April, the first selling for 300 pounds sterling (488 US dollars), while for the second model, pricing is yet to be revealed.
