The Olympus OM-D E-M10 official announcement day gets closer, and we’ve so far had the chance to see how the new camera looks, but also to find out about some of its specs.

The E-M10 is a bit smaller than the current E-M5 model, but comes packed with the same 16MP image sensor as the latter and the True Pic VII image processor found in Olympus E-M1.

In addition to that, the E-M10, despite being an entry-level mirrorless model, will feature a built-in flash, unlike its pricier predecessor. The new model comes with only 3-axis image stabilization, unlike the E-M5 and E-M1, which feature 5-axis stabilization.

In a recent post on Japanese website Digicameinfo, a trusted source has disclosed even more information about the final specs of the upcoming interchangeable lens camera.

It seems that the Olympus E-M10 will be capable of capturing stills as fast as 1/4000 of a second and long exposure photos with up to 60 seconds shutter speed. Burst shooting mode is also a bit slower than the E-M5 with 8 frames per second, while the latter had 9fps.
