The Stylus XZ-10 camera from Olympus has already received the attention it deserves, so now we are taking a look at two other Stylus-series cameras.

Called Stylus TG-830 and TG-2, they are shockproof, waterproof and freezeproof, even if they feature better than average image shooting and video recording capabilities, courtesy of their good CMOS image sensors.

TG-830 has low noise, high-speed AF and multi-recording functions, plus a 16 MP CMOS sensor, and a high-performance TruePic image processor.

The TG-2 uses a 12 MP sensor, GPS and iHS technology.

All in all, the Olympus TG-830 and TG-2 cameras should perform well even when hiking to the top of snowy mountains. Rainy weather will fail to harm them as well.

No prices have been revealed yet, sadly, nor the exact date of arrival. Probably in a week or so.
