A week after the official announcement, the OM-D E-M10 is listed as “in stock” on Olympus' official online store as well as at a few retailers in the US.

Today, the Nippon camera and optics maker has officially announced that the Olympus OM-D E-M10 will hit market shelves in Japan starting on February 28 along with the M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 EZ and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 25mm F1.8 lenses and other accessories announced at the same time with the camera.

Currently, the E-M10 is in stock only at AmazonUS, while BHphoto or the GetOlympus store are only offering a pre-order option for the new entry-level interchangeable lens camera. The price for the Japanese market is yet to be revealed but, in the US, the camera is sold with a price tag of $699 / €510.

Olympus E-M10 features a 16.1MP Live MOS sensor and TruePic VII image processor, can record 1080p Full HD video footage, just like its pricier siblings, but comes only with 3-axis image stabilization, unlike the other models, which have 5-axis stabilization.
