People may not remember the folks at Walton-Chaintech, but the company was actually a well-known name some years back.

Their motherboards were pretty good and their graphics products were not too shabby either.

One thing led to another though, and they ended up backing out of both segments in 2006.

Fortunately, it wasn't permanent, not if Digitimes is reporting correctly on the matter.

Apparently, Walton-Chaintech has signed an agreement with Colorful, through which the latter will assist it in marketing its products outside China.

With the new motherboards from both AMD and Intel, not to mention the graphics cards from the former and NVIDIA, the returning brand won't have to worry about not having what to build upon.

It will just have to be especially careful in its R&D and marketing, and since experience is not lacking there in the slightest, it shouldn't be any problem in the end.
