Police have identified three suspects that they have in custody for the shooting of an Australian-born college athlete in Oklahoma.

As I told you, they allegedly told the Police Chief in the small town of Duncan that they were bored and wanted to see somebody die.

22-year-old Christopher Lane was allegedly shot by 16-year-old Chancey Allen Luna, who was in the back seat of a vehicle being driven by 17-year-old Michael Jones.

The latter has been charged with being an accessory to the killing and driving a vehicle used in the discharge of a weapon. He stands to be tried as an adult, Fox News reports.

Prosecutor Jason Hicks adds that Luna and a third passenger, 15-year-old James Francis Edwards Jr, have been charged with first-degree murder and will also be tried in adult court.

Luna's mother describes her son as harmless, but mentions that the three boys have formed a "wannabe gang."

The Herald Sun writes that police have discovered a shotgun in the car, but there is no sign of the .22 caliber revolver used to kill Lane.

They believe that the guns have been stolen, as the shotgun has been found hidden under the spare tire compartment.
