Long lasting power to keep going via USB

Energizer recently launched two new chargers for the rechargeable batteries Energizer DUO and Energizer Family Charger. STOP! When you read Energizer, you immediately associate the name with an anthropomorphic pink funny bunny that runs like a freak around the earth and back, right? Wrong! That's a Duracell's advertising symbol. Energizer's mascot may not be as popular as Duracell's, but the company it represents is also the No.1 selling brand when it comes to NiMH products.

Apparently, the Energizer DUO charger (pictured) is targeted at the "tech-wired" ad clip audience (yes, you) and can be plugged into a USB jack as well as into a wall outlet. Does thin mean they'll change their slogan that would now sound something like "Long lasting power to keep going via USB"? Maybe, but probably not. The charger's case is not pink, so relax. It comes in red, blue and yellow and sells for just 14$. It also comes with 2 AAA mAh NiMH batteries along with a customizable computer software that allows you to watch the hole boring process (something like an HD defragging window). The DUO can take on 2 AA or AAA NiMH batteries and it's capable of recharging them in about 2 hours.

On the other hand, the Energizer Family Charger is aimed at the newbes who have lots of battery types. The device has a capacity of 8 AAA or AA batteries, two 9v, four C and four D batteries. The cool part is that it allows you to recharge different types of batteries simultaneously. This one will cost you almost 30$ and it doesn't come with any USB, nor does it include batteries.
