An Ohio grandfather, frustrated by the fact that his grandson was constantly refusing to do his household chores, decided to call 911 and report him to the authorities for being lazy.

Edward Friel got so upset with his 17-year-old grandson Justin Friel that he called emergency dispatchers in South Amherst to complain about the teenager's disrespectful behavior. The 72-year-old grandpa told officers that the youngster was playing computer games instead of helping out with housework, Daily Mail informs.

He also mentioned that they got into a fight over chores on Saturday morning, and Justin called him names. The teen reportedly punched a hole in the kitchen wall during the argument because his grandfather, who has custody of the minor, cut the internet cable cord. He then stormed out of the house, infuriated because he couldn't play games anymore.

According to a police report filed by Lorain County Sheriff’s Office, the upset granddad complained that the teen “is lazy and does nothing around the house.”

“Mr. Friel stated he had asked Justin to do some work around the house but [he] continued to play on the computer. [Friel] cut the Internet cable cord since he was not listening to him,” the report says.

Apparently, Justin walked into nearby woods after leaving the house, probably to calm down.

When officers arrived at their house, the elder Friel declined to press charges for the damage caused to the kitchen wall, and promised to handle the discipline of his grandson on his own.

“Mr. Friel was advised on his options and informed he would handle the discipline,” the report says.
