Oh, My! They Wacked Samsung U600 and Did This!

The nerve! These fellows have no hard feelings when it comes to copying the design of some hot chick trap design on the market. Just look what they've done to the elegant Ultra U600 cell phone from Samsung.

The PMP dubbed MD382iFTD from Egoman Technology proudly shows a design that resembles Samsung's U600; needless to say they stole almost every detail starting with the color.

Surprisingly, the device doesn't actually come with phone features. What it does have, though, is support for a lot of file formats on the market, such as MTV-format videos, and MP3, WMA and DRM 10-equipped audio files with ID3 tags and LRC 0.2 lyric synchronization. Besides that, the didn't forget to add the JPGs and BMP compatibility for images to be displayed as well.

When it comes for its looks, the portable device has either a 2- or 1.8-inch TFT display, gathering a resolution of 176?220 or 128?160 pixels, respectively. As for the internal memory, that's up to 8GB, and expandable through a slot for microSD and TransFlash card up to an extra 2GB.

The additional options mention about an integrated FM radio with recording function, while the sound performances were enhanced with 3D surround effects. Voice recording is also possible through ADPCM. The makers have added a mini USB 2.0 port. The portable media player's dimensions are also pretty convenient ones of 82 x 45 x 7mm, weighting about 50 grams.

It also offers multi-language support, and gets powered through a rechargeable li-polymer battery, which is claimed to offer an audio play time of about 10 hours for the audio content and about 4 hours for the video one.

Sadly, there is no word about the pricing and availability details! Hopefully, there would be no copycat on that!
