In return, the singer will have to admit to reckless driving

At the moment, Justin Bieber's legal team and the American legal system are entangled in a deadly dance of negotiation, as each side wants to get as much of the case as possible. As a result, there are currently intense negotiations going on to reach a plea deal that will throw the case out of court.

TMZ reports that US prosecutors will agree to drop the three charges with which Bieber is being accused, that is: driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving without a license, but only if he pleads no contest to reckless driving.

To sweeten the deal, they have also backed out of their request to submit Justin to random drug testing. At the moment, this sounds like a pretty sweet deal for the singer, who seemed at one point to be heading to certain self-destruction.

The only hitch in this otherwise flawless plan that would guarantee Bieber doesn't even see the inside of the courtroom is that he will, for all pretense and purposes, have to be put on parole for a year. That means that he will have to be on his best behavior until February 2015, something that might prove tricky for the pop singer who sure loves to party.

The accusations were made after he was picked up by Miami police three months ago in a Lamborghini and slapped with DUI, drag racing and driving with an expired license. If Justin agrees with these new terms, the deal could be finalized in mere days, and he could put the whole Miami incident behind him.

Up to this point, there has been previous talk of a plea deal, but it included random drug testing, something that Bieber would never agree to, and it's not hard to understand why. But now that the random drug testing bit was taken out of the deal, it could very well go all the way through.

Justin's legal troubles are beginning to fade out, one by one. He's also getting off the hook in the egging incident if the local D.A. has anything to say about it, and the case of the paparazzi fight could be getting sorted soon if Selena's deposition goes the right way.

She has recently been subpoenaed to testify in the case, after being revealed that she might give crucial information as to Justin's behavior on the day he decided to punch a photographer for failing to get out of the way of his car in time.
