Taiwan-based mobile phone maker HTC Corporation has made available a new product video on the Internet, this time around with its recently unveiled HTC Flyer tablet PC.

This is the very first official video with the Android-based device from the company to make it into the wild, set to provide some more info on the tablet, on top of what was already officially unveiled.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the leading handset vendor has launched the new device in February during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The new device comes with Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system on board, and HTC packed it with a special feature, which is not present at the moment in any other similar device on the market, a capacitive stylus.

According to the company, its HTC Scribe technology would be able to offer users the possibility to easily take notes while on the go.

The tablet PC comes to the market with a 7-inch touchscreen display that boasts a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution and multi-touch capability, which is complemented by an optional digital pen, sold separately.

The specifications list of the new device would also include a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon application processor, complemented by 1GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory, along with a microSD memory card slot for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The device also comes with Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) connectivity, as well as with Bluetooth 3.0 capabilities, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, and integrated GPS receiver. HTC launched 3G and 4G capable models too.

On the back, the tablet PC would include a 5 megapixel photo snapper with auto focus and HD video recording capabilities, complemented by a forward-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video calling.

According to some of the recent reports on this device, HTC might plan the release of Honeycomb-based versions of Flyer in the not too far future.
