At CES 2014, Samsung pulled out of the box four new tablet models, the pen-enabled 12.2-inch Galaxy NotePRO and three TabPRO slates coming in different flavors, 12.2-inch, 10.1-inch and 8.4-inch.

The Galaxy NotePRO has already been made available in the UK, but nothing official was announced about the new slates’ availability in the US. But so far speculations have indicated that Sammy might be planning something big for Valentine Day.

And the tech giant finally put an end to all speculation and announced that the new devices would arrive in the US a day before the chocolaty celebration kick-starts. The only exception is the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 which will land in the States next month.

Customers looking to grab one of these new models can place a pre-order starting today on Samsung’s website or via third-party retail partners like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Tiger Direct, PC Richard and Sons, Fry’s and Newegg.

Samsung also notes that Verizon will be the first US carrier to offer the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2 with 4G LTE in tow, somewhere towards the end of this quarter.

As a memory refresh, the Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO 12.2 are said to be “the world’s first 12.2-inch tablet with HD WQXGA (2560 x 1600) Super Clear LCDs and a widescreen aspect ratio of 16:10.”

Both models are fitted with a Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core processor (for LTE models) combined with 3GB of RAM and run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box.

For those who like smaller-framed tablets, the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 is an optimal choice, being “the most pixel dense tablet on the market.” The slate receives power from a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz combined with 2GB of RAM and runs Android 4.4 KitKat.

Samsung has bundled the slates with the Multi Window functionality which lets users view up to four apps simultaneously, allowing the deployment of a superior multi-tasking experience.

The four tablets all enjoy Samsung’s new Magazine UX interface which is build right into the screen layout, making easily accessible popular content like games, notes, apps, email and more.

Here's the rates at which you should expect the tablets to sell:

Note Pro 12.2: $749.99 / €555 (32 GB), $849.99 / €629 (64 GB) Tab Pro 12.2: $649.99 / €481 (32 GB) Tab Pro 10.1: $499.99 / €370 (16 GB) Tab Pro 8.4: $399.99 / €296 (16 GB)
