Shortly after inadvertently revealing the full price of the HTC One S smartphone on its online store, T-Mobile USA has come forward with an official statement announcing the upcoming availability of the device.

T-Mobile USA has just confirmed that the HTC One S will be available at its retail stores beginning on April 25 for only $199.99 (€150) with a new two-year agreement and after a $50 USD (€40) mail-in rebate.

Although there’s no mention of a possible exclusivity over the One S, T-Mobile does say it will be the first to offer the smartphone in the United States.

In addition, HTC One S is T-Mobile USA’s first device to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and HTC Sense 4 out of the box. Aside from that, HTC One S is fully compatible with the carrier’s HSPA+ (42Mbps) network.

As expected, the smartphone comes with built-in Beats Audio software and hardware that makes audio experiences sound much better. This also provides users with a richer and more accurate sound while watching movies, listening to music or playing games.

HTC One S comes with a stunning 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (540 x 960 pixels) that features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

On the inside, the smartphone is equipped with a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory.

Even though the device does not come with microSD card slot for memory expansion, users will have access to 25GB of free cloud storage from DropBox.

Featuring an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and HTC ImageSense technology, which provides a range of enhancements to the camera’s lens, sensor and software, the HTC One S can double as a camera anytime.

The One S also allows users to capture high-quality video recording with a full high-definition (HD) 1080p camcorder. It is also worth mentioning that users can capture HD video and still images at the same time.
