14 DAY TRIAL // Anonymous and LulzSec Philippines have defaced an official website of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, a region composed mostly of Muslim provinces, located in the Mindanao island group of the Philippines.
The affected domain, armmgov.ph, is an alternative to armm.gov.ph, which appears to be working properly.
The hacktivists say they’ve hijacked the domain to send a message to the Philippines president and to the country’s government.
The hackers say that the government has been “a bit irresponsible” and they urge the president to stand up for the people.
“We know it is very hard for a president or official to do everything that will make their people get satisfied. But you can find a way to have a solution, that makes a good leader, (sic)” they wrote on the defaced site.
“Correct all the government’s wrongdoings, corruption, mistakes, even one by one, and we would follow to the right path as you’ve wanted for us.”
