14 DAY TRIAL // The third annual Luxtoberfest Contest and Celebration will take place this month. Luxtoberfest is a series of online tournaments involving the world domination game Lux Delux. The object of the game is to take over the entire world by controlling your armies and conquering strategic countries on the world map.
The tournament will take place throughout the whole month of October and will feature 19 events. The opening event will be "Opening Night Tournament of Champions for High Seeds" and will consist of 4 consecutive games played by the 6 highest seeded players. Players will be able to use either their normal seed or their long-term seed to enter.
Public Lux Internet games marked with Luxtoberfest will host each event, and those games will be available from the Show Network Games button inside Lux. An interesting feature of Luxtoberfest is the Lux Awards, because the awards are decided by Lux players. Luxers will be required to send and email of PM to cast their vote until October 29, which is the closing date.
Among the most interesting of the awards granted by the people there are: "Best Host", "Rookie of the Year", "Most Entertaining Player" and "Best Forum Influence". Lux Awards and tournaments winners will receive as prizes Lux merchandise, ranking medals and game registrations.
Lux Delux gamers can also challenge artificial intelligence as 11 different computer opponents are available. Different difficulty levels are available for each set of players, beginners and experienced gamers.
