Admits to it in her latest interview

What with all the heat Nadya Suleman has been getting in the media and from the public in recent days, some would say that admitting to her past as an exotic dancer would not be the smartest PR move she could make at this point. Yet, she makes it either way, as The National Enquirer is quick to inform, as quoted by X17 Online.

Suleman admits to working as one of “these girls” in her most recent interview, but also tries to excuse it by saying it was all part of an “investigative stage in [her] life.” She also says she quit when she came to realize what the job really implied, and that she was supposed to dance for customers in postures she did not condone. At the same time, Suleman stresses that she is not ashamed of what she did, first because it was only for a short period of time, and secondly because she did not see any harm in it, several other media outlets are pointing out.

“It’s true that I was an [exotic] dancer, but that’s all.” Suleman begins her story by saying. “I had not even kissed a boy. But I entered a dance / lingerie contest in a club near my home. I danced and paraded in lingerie. Then, when I was 19, I went to a gentleman’s club and performed [there]. But I only did it one night. I quit when I found out I was expected to perform lap dances.” she further adds.

Without saying that dancing for money is necessarily a bad thing, the US media is already pointing fingers at Suleman for being (yet again, they say) the best example that she’s in it for the money and the fame. She’s nothing short of hypocritical, celebrity bloggers claim, or else she would have come out with this story when speculation regarding it first emerged a couple of weeks ago, when some unnamed friend of hers spoke to the tabloids.

Suleman first rose in the public eye when she gave birth to octuplets at the beginning of the year. First welcomed as a hero of sorts, she was later brought down from the pedestal and thrashed for already having six children at home, in the context in which she had neither a job nor a proper house to raise 14 kids. As of late, Suleman has been making media deals with several networks so as to be able to make some money to provide for her children, it has been said.
