OPPO might have managed to impress the world with its OPPO N1 smartphone, which is targeted mainly at the high-end market, but it appears that the company isn’t forgetting about budget-conscious users, and that it has a new mid-range handset for them, the R833T.

The new device can already be seen on the company’s website, where the hardware specifications that it will pack when made available for purchase have been unveiled.

Thus, users are looking at a smartphone featuring a 4.3-inch IPS touchscreen display capable of delivering an 800 × 480 pixels resolution, and powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 processor.

Furthermore, the mobile phone is listed with 1GB of RAM inside and with 4GB of internal memory, as well as with a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The specifications list of the new device also includes a 5-megpixel camera on the back, with Panorama mode and HD video recording capabilities, as well as a 2MP front camera, which should prove a great option when it comes to video calling while on the road.

The new OPPO R833T should also come to the market with the usual set of connectivity capabilities packed inside, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS receiver, as well as with the entire range of sensors.

The mobile phone measures 129.5 x 66.7 x 9.8mm and weighs 139 grams with the battery inside. It runs under OPPO’s Color OS, which is based on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

The smartphone listed on OPPO’s website only in White, and chances are that the handset vendor won’t launch it in another color flavor.

Unfortunately, no specific info on when the new handset might become available for purchase has been provided, and details on its pricing are lacking as well. However, as fonearena notes, it should prove to be a rather cheap device.
