ONWorld expects to reach 100 million clients all across the globe by 2015, making a profit of approximately $6 billion from distributing cloud services for energy and home service providers

Smart Home relies on a technology which is expanding and it has already been adopted in many homes so far.

“Demand for energy solutions has invigorated the Smart Home market and resulted in cloud based innovations that make Smart Home services accessible for the average household,” says the company's officials

ON World's representatives have conducted a study on 500 consumers that reflected as main idea the fact that 5 out of 4 are “interested” and “very interested” thought that the company's field of activity which involves services such as security, safety, and energy management.

Those people, and most likely others more, would be very excited to be able to control all their devices with the use of just a remote-control.

It seems that 29% of the subjects thought that such an innovative initiative is quite affordable, since they declared themselves willing to pay d $10 or more per month, to be able to benefit from Smart Home cloud service.

The company's officials are very optimistic when they think about their position on the market and the enterprise's future perspectives.

Apparently, their objective between 2010 and 2015 has been a 103% annual growth rate, and they still think this target can be achieved, due to the fact that the company offers its services to clients at very appealing prices.

“Built on an IP based infrastructure, these Smart Home platforms present nearly unlimited services opportunities as well as the potential for disruption from new offerings that promise to deliver Smart Home solutions at even lower costs,” declared the ON World’s research director.

Costs might turn out to be very relevant, since many consumers might think that they can't afford these features or don't actually enjoy the idea of investing in such a field.

Despite this fact, companies might be fond of the idea of establishing partnerships with ON World.

This is the case of a deal made in August, between Vivint, a security enterprise who agrreed to sign with Tendril in order to improve their security offer by adding a few energy management features.

CNET showed the public that by paying $57.99 per month, adding 8$ to the initial price of the security service, it is possible to benefit from the usage of a wireless thermostat, a smart plug that one can use to control lights and a pack of fluorescent bulbs.
