Probably the best thing on the market

Remember all those videos showing different types of netbooks running on Apple's OS X operating system, recently surfacing on the Internet? Well, it looks like we will be soon dealing with a very unique netbook system powered by some of Apple's technologies, although the system itself is not part of Apple's designs. However, if the said netbook is actually released, it will certainly bring a fresh look to a market that has been invaded by all those Atom powered devices that have all the same features and specifications.

The news comes from OLO, a company that apparently intends to build a netbook to go hand in hand with your iPhone. Basically, the system is meant to integrate Apple's iPhone in a portable computer system casing that will run on what seems to be a version of Apple's OS X. The integrated iPhone will serve as a track pad for the said computer system.

Currently, there are no other details available, aside from a picture on the company's website, so there is no way of telling how it plans to build the device or how it envisions incorporating Apple's iPhone in a fully-fledged portable computer system. However, if the system eventually hits the market, it will most certainly be unlike anything available at the moment.

There are no details either regarding pricing or release date for that matter, but given the recent rumors indicating that Apple is planning to launch a sub-$800 notebook, the said system could actually become available on the market in one form or another. If that is the case, then the system could be a real competitor for the title of The Netbook, considering that the iPhone can provide wireless Internet connectivity.
