OKDOTHIS, the photography social network for creatives who love to be inspired by others, has received a major new update today which brings a lot of new features.

By just looking at the version number you’d think this is a minor bug-fix release, but you’d be wrong to assume that. According to the changelog, this update is pretty big.

OKDOTHIS 1.0.5 offers faster loading in the Discover section and pretty much everywhere else throughout the app, and (one that users have been craving for) you can now choose which notifications you receive by setting the criteria in the options panel.

If someone is bothering you, you can now block that person and be done with it. Some people would love to be offered options like hiring a stranger to egg that person’s house, but this is probably not going to happen for a while. Other changes are highlighted below.

- Redesigned Activity and DO feeds - See if a user follows you back on their profile - Get notified if your photos, profile, or DOs are featured - Choose to show your OK'd photos on Facebook - View all the photos you've OK'd - When creating a new DO, similar DOs are shown to prevent duplication - More accurate searching for people and DOs

Supported languages include English, Arabic, Bokmål, Norwegian, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish, and Vietnamese.

Download OKDOTHIS on any iPhone or iPad that can handle iOS 7.0. Newcomers will be glad to know that both the app and the service are completely void of any charges.

All you do is sign up and use the service to connect with other photographers, draw inspiration from their DOs, and make the best work of your life. Also, you get to see how your own DOs inspire other to be creative.
